Johannesburg, July 2021 – Namibian food brand Pasta Polana is making a big statement in the South African commuter environment with a Transit Ads campaign that looks set to generate greater awareness of this brand and its pasta products.
With a focus on high visibility and impact, Pasta Polana is making effective use of the largest branding structures to be erected in the South African taxi rank and shopping mall environments – the Transit Ads Powa Towas.
These Powa Towas measure 12 metres in height and offer advertisers the opportunity to brand 96m2 of advertising space in strategically-selected, bustling commuter traffic flow areas.
Transit Ads has Powa Towas across six provinces, but for this campaign, Pasta Polana has opted for six key sites – Kempton Park, Daveyton, Vereeniging, East Rand Mall, Diepkloof and Natalspruit – in Gauteng and one each in Limpopo (Burgersfort) and the Western Cape (Gugulethu). “Our Powa Towas are all situated in key commuter nodes, in close proximity to shopping malls, key retail hubs and those key characteristics make them a ‘powerful’ Out of Home medium with which to drive greater awareness and recall for any brand,” says Shamy Naidu, Executive: Transit Ads. “Further to that, they are visible both up close and from afar, which increases the audience and target market that the brand is able to engage with.”
